Hi! I am an Illustrator, Creative Director & Graphic Designer currently based in Malta, Europe. Over the last 12 years, I have worked in various creative studios and advertising agencies in Malta as a graphic designer, illustrator, and creative director. Working with clients from various industries. In recent years I have been focused on exploring and mapping out the Maltese visual & aesthetic identity with my work being solely illustration-based. These illustrations focus on the landscapes, collective memories, architecture, and heritage of the Maltese Islands. This work formed part of a project which I co-founded in 2016, called Te fit-Tazza. This passion project resulted in a body of work about Malta that delves deep into the origins of Maltese aesthetics, and the many influences that make up the island’s unique character. The style that emerged from this body of work explores the notion of presenting objects in a manner that celebrates and glorifies their geometry and the interaction they have with light. In 2018, I became the co-owner of the retail brand, Souvenirs That Don’t Suck. This was a chance for me to create artwork for apparel design, bags, socks, and homeware and as a by product has allowed me to explore new visuals styles.
